Description: This is the first Pan edition. The front cover is in quite splendid vintage condition. Uncreased, unmarked, colours popping. A fraction of nibbling on the spine. Glue has come slightly adrift where front of spine meets printed pages. Easily remedied but I will leave as is. There's a small tear (a few mm only) bottom right corner of blurb page inside front cover. It may be persnickety of me to list these minor faults in a vintage paperback, but it is a pretty rare copy so I want to be thorough. I don't want a buyer to be let down. On the whole, the book as a reading proposition is clean as a whistle. No marking or dog-earing or underlining or crinkling on the pages at all. Very clean.
