Description: This listing is for an authentic, vintage 3.2 Collins -Bonded- Jersey pattern axe, on 30” White Oak. This axe was restored and built in San Francisco, California at Stunner Blades Customs. The Jersey pattern head was cleaned and blued. The bit was reground convex and is very sharp. A reproduction Collins round label was affixed to the cheek, removable by the owner if desired. The helve was carved from White Oak timber. Total length is 30”, with a total weight of approximately 4 lbs. the swell was laminated from same stock and pinned with White Oak for additional security. The head was well seated, wedged full and flush cut with Yellow Poplar. This axe was finished with boiled linseed oil for a clean grip and hand feel.
