There are some small, light spots and the band inside has two spots where small sections were cut out (see two photos). The number preceding the "X" was cut out so I do not know the amount of beaver in the hat material. Cody James cowboy hats range from 2X to 10X. The material is 90 percent wool. The hat is not perfectly symmetrical. I do not know when this hat was made. The brim is 4 1/8 inches at the front and 4 1/4 inches in the back. The length is 16 3/8 inches and the height is about 4 1/4 inches. It weighs one pound, nine ounces. The size is 7 1/8. It has a plain ribbon hat band with small metal diamond in the front.
