Radio comes with a basic microphone but it does great with this radio it was tested with this microphone in line... This is a very nice radio for the money. Full-time anti-squail TalkBack (if you do get any squeal just adjust your mic gain. Peaked Tuned TalkBack RF gain is now the veritable power or dial a watts going from 0 Watts to 8 watts Your RF gain is your veritable power it'll go from around 1 watt all the way up to 8 watts swinging around 1m18-20 watts on my dosey 3001 meters pep at 14.4 volts at a 1.1 standing wave... This wattage depends on the setup you have so you may not get the same results that's what it's doing here on my radio... Remember meters are different, standing wave makes a tremendous amount of differents, voltage makes a difference. This radio is showing this but I cannot guarantee you that it will be exactly the same with you... This radio like all my radios were tested before they go out and before they are listed...
