Description: Three excavated clay pipes dating from the 1820’s through 1880’s. They have been lightly cleaned and are solid but in “dug” condition. The one with horns and “RAOB” was made for the “The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes”. It is one of the largest fraternal organizations in the United Kingdom. The order started in 1822 and is known as the Buffs to members. The longest pipe pictured in this group measures 3 ½ inchs. They come as shown in a 5” x 6” riker display box. All of the artifacts are guaranteed to be original as stated. A hand signed and dated “Certificate of Authenticity” will be issued by Collectors Frame with a photograph and description of the items purchased.
