Description: Offered as-is is a pair of pre-owned classic Fiskars steel anvil-cut pruner shears, with a locking, cushion-grip handle, orange and black in color. This pair is not marked made in USA, but they feel like it, and the Fiskars brand appears on the clear adhesive label. Note that one of the rubber cushion grips has been lost (or was not on the pruners to begin with), not that that matters much, and that the other shows a 3/16 inch long tear towards the blade end (see photos).The important point here is that the pair works and locks well, with smooth action and good spring to open their handle, and possesses a clean and sharp cutting blade (see photos). Tool is not engraved or personalized in any way. Chrome is in very good condition; blades do show some sap stains and resin from use. Jaws open to approximately 3/8 inch or so, but for hard, woody, and dry branches of that size and up user should instead use a lopper. Anyway, pruning season is at hand! There's always something of manageable diameter to cut out of the way, cut back, or cut to bring in. Just don't go cutting wire with these--that's not what they're for!
