Description: Civil War Model 1832/34 General and Staff Officers Sword. Can't see any maker marks. The grip, knuckleguard, and pommel are all tight, the crossguard is loose. The faintly etched blade is straight, unsharpened, some small nicks on the lower half, has age spots with surface rust scattered throughout, and the last 3/16" of the tip has been broken off. No scabbard. Length of the blade is 31 13/16" (1 3/16" wide and 1/4" thick), and the sword is 37 15/16". Check out my other War items!! Including More Swords and Many Bayonets!!
