Confederate Centennial Studies: Number 11 Edited by WM Stanley Hoole Paperback, 145 pages Confederate Publishing Tuscaloosa Alabama 1986 reprint Reconstruction in West Alabama The Memoirs of John L. Hunnicutt (1850-1832) Definitely a view of the occupation from a southern perspective, Mr. Hoole's prefacing screed is quite enlightening. This memoir is the story of a Klansman and his activities after the Civil War. I did not read the book, but I scanned it to get a feel for its contents. I don't think he admits to murder, but the things he does proudly admit that he did, it wouldn't be surprising to discover he had participated in lynching as well.I do NOT use "Stock Photos". Every item I sell has an individual scanned picture so you can see what you are REALLY getting. This is a previously owned book in overall good condition; with worn edges, has clean & complete texts & good binding. I have other COOKBOOKS up for bids as well as other books and will happily combine shipping to reduce postage costs for the bidder. I combine shipping.
