Description: Extremely rare and hard-to-find souvenir hotel china serving bowl from "Brand's Pine View House" in Nassau, N.Y. This bowl probably served several purposes. I believe it's a good indication that Brand's Pine View House provided family style dining for guests. It is about 9" long x 7" wide x 2" high. It is in very good used condition. There is light surface wear/utensil marks/glaze loss commensurate with age that is hard to notice until turned toward the light. There is a hairline on the upper rim at about 6 o'clock (possible in the making - see pictures). There is some extremely light discoloration on the underside (see picture #9). The caption and maker's mark are strong. This piece has a great antique feel and displays very well. Regarding combined shipping. In most cases, several pieces can be shipped in a single box. When this occurs, I will credit the purchaser's account any shipping difference. In-other-words, I charge exact shipping for same time multiple purchases.
