Description: Late 19th Early 20th Century Syracuse China dining car platter marked "P & L E RR" Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad. There is no date code. The platter has one of Syracuse China's earliest backstamps hence Late 19th Early 20th Century. It is in very good used condition.1. There is a 7/8" flake on the outer rim at about three o'clock that is more obvious on the back (see picture #4) and less obvious on the front (see picture #3).2. There are several small light surface blemishes commensurate with age and use (see pictures #5 & #6).3. There are two small rim flakes/chips on the back (see pictures #7 & #8).4. There is a small 1" hairline at about 9 o'clock.5. There is surface wear commensurate with age and use that is hard-to-see until turned toward the light.6. There is some heavy surface wear/glaze loss on the back high spots. This piece is very clean, has a great antique feel, and displays very well. Combined shipping does not apply.
