Description: Here you have a wonderful bit of VINTAGE WOODEN INDIAN MEMORABILIA! Please...SEE THE SCANS!!! This is TOBACCO STORE WOODEN INDIANS featured in a complete 1937 CORONET Magazine. This includes a great inside article entitled "WOODEN INDIANS". (THE INDEX OF AMERICAN DESIGN HAS RECORDED A VANISHED AMERICAN ART.) Nice one-page article! Eight more pages with Color Plates of CIGAR STORE INDIANS, A COUPLE OF TURKS and an odd one of what looks like a soldier… They look like photos but they are the artwork of a fellow by the name of Walter Hochstrasser. There is one page of text here, and then eight of these plates with captions. They are back to back on four pages. Coronet Magazine in this era is an upscale digest full of photos, art and articles that touch on themes of the day. This is a wonderful time capsule and measures a little over 5.5 inches X 7.5 inches. It is in nice shape, not mint but fairly gently read!!! A great piece for the collector! Take it home with you! Winner, please add $4.50 for postage and wonderful packaging. I am happy to send this to any country. 1st class international air postage will be charged… GOOD LUCK!
