No author or date given, Worldcat shows the earliest example of this title with Sekai Ky seiky given as author; our copy makes no reference to Ky seiky or any other author which suggests that it may precede these recorded copies. Our copy matches the number of pages and the measurements of Worldcat's listing of the first appearance of this title. Though this copy and the copies on Worldcat are undated 1955 is logically infered as most likely date of publication by Worldcat and ourselves; 1955 corresponds to the year of Mokichi Okada's death (February, 1955) and that is the seminal event which ends the narrative. The assumption of 1955 publication date follows the logic that the church would be motivated to have an initial draft of a biography of the central and most revered figure of it's founding in print as soon as possible following the institutional crisis that his death must have occassioned for the church. Subsequent editions are all of greater length giving greater weight to this conclusion. Worldcat shows just two institutional holdings for this edition. We find no other offerings by the trade of this title at this time (July, 2015) nor can we find any auction records of it ever coming up for auction. Rare. Near Fine.
