Description: This is truely a one-of-a-kind nutcracker because of its lineage. This soldier was handcrafted in the DDR (East Germany when it was a communist country) and was sold in the West German town of Rothenburg o.d. Tauber. The pictures of the box will show this. The nutcracker is in very good shape: nothing is broken or chipped. There is some very minor wear based on the fact it is 35+ years old. It comes in its original box. It was stored away in my mom's collection for years and is now looking for a new home. Size: 15" high, 5" wide, 4" deep and weighs 23oz.
