This copy has been signed and dated by Van Allsburg on tip in which is adhered to the half title page. Winner of the 1982 Caldecott Medal. Basis for the superb 1995 adaptation which starred Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst. Also the basis for the three film (and counting) modern franchise which star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Nick Jonas among a rather lengthy list of celebrities.
