Doi is known for her softly styled drawings on rich creamy paper. She creates the illustrations in these books with colored pencils, pastels, and crayons, crafting them to give an old-world feel, a time of innocence and simplicity. The exquisite art radiates joy and has a dreamy quality to it that reflects how children imagine their ideal world to be. These delightful books are a welcome escape for young children from their anxieties." --International Examiner Competing Titles Chirri & Chirra Kaya Doi 9781592701995 15.95 Enchanted Lion Books 08/09/2016 Richard Scarrys Best Word Book Ever Richard Scarry 9780307155108 15.99 Golden Books 09/01/1999 I Am a Bunny Richard Scarry 9780375827785 5.99 Golden Books 01/01/2004 The Poky Little Puppy Janette Lowrey 9780375839252 4.99 Golden Books 01/07/2009 Little Fur Family Margaret Brown 9780060759605 7.99 HarperFestival 06/28/205 Details ISBN1592702252 Publisher Enchanted Lion Books Year 2017 Illustrator Kaya Doi ISBN-10 1592702252 ISBN-13 9781592702251 Format Hardcover Imprint Enchanted Lion Books Place of Publication New York Country of Publication United States Pages 40 DEWEY E Audience Age 2-8 Translator Yuki Kaneko Language English Author Yuki Kaneko UK Release Date 2017-07-06 Publication Date 2017-07-06 NZ Release Date 2017-07-06 US Release Date 2017-07-06 Series Chirri & Chirra Audience Children / Juvenile AU Release Date 2017-06-21 We've got this At The Nile, if you're looking for it, we've got it.
