Description: This listing is for ONE child's plate designed and made by Richter, Falke & Hahn of Chodov, Czechoslovakia. Sweet center scene depicts a boy and a girl looking at an a black bird with a large yellow beak in a blue & green tree. The little boy is holding a toy clown while a tiger striped cat sits at his feet also looking at the bird. Three scenes are also seen on the rim of this plate: The bird on a branch, a pail with shovel and ball, and a teddy bear. The outside rim edge is gilded. Really very charming Eastern European illustration for the 1940s.
