Description: Very good, clean, tight vintage copy of John Paul Jones Salt-Water Boy by Dorothea J. Snow. This is a title in the Childhood of Famous Americans Series. This is a circa 1962 printing in the pictorial cover format. This title was originally issued in 1950 in the orange cloth format with silhouette illustrations. This later printing features two tone illustrations by William Moyers, considered more appealing and modern for 1960s children. There is no jacket with this copy. There is light rubbing to the covers. Text is clean and bright. Binding is sturdy and very firm. Endpapers are blue with topic lists of this series titles. The book has no writing or other marks. There is no significant damage. It is very gently used and in lovely condition for a 60 plus year old children's book. This will be packaged carefully for shipping to prevent damage.
