Be sure to use the appropriate blades for each function. Before Using the Device: Before using the cordless electric knife, connect the charging cord to the appliance and plug the charger into a power outlet. Charging takes approximately 1.5 hours, providing around seventy minutes of use. Once charged, assemble the blades by holding the non-serrated ends with the plastic guards on either side. After ensuring that the serrated edges are on the same side, slide the rivet of one blade into the keyhole slot of the other blade. Once the blades are assembled, connect them to the motor unit (the handle) with the serrated edge facing down. When inserting the blades, you will hear a click when they are secured. Using the Cordless Electric Knife: Before using your cordless knife, ensure it is charged and disconnected from the charger. Secure the meat to be carved, for example, by using a carving fork to hold it in place. Once the blade is parallel to the cutting surface, press the on/off button. Carefully guide the blades through the food, keeping your hands and any obstructions away from the blade. Avoid applying pressure or using a sawing motion when cutting. Please note that it is recommended to carve on a wooden board, as plastic or glass boards will be scratched by knives. It is also not recommended to cut through frozen foods or bones.
