Description: Hi There. Offer is for a single complete custom-made Cheapino Keyboard. You will not need to program the Microcontroller. You will not need to solder anything. This is a "plug-n-play", or rather, plug-n-type keyboard. What's included:2 PCBs (left and right) with soldered Kailh Brown switches (40±10gf mfg# CPG151101D213)1 Set of XDA profile PBT Dye Sublimation Keycaps (if you don't know means, don't worry. It just means they are nice)1 straight Ethernet Cable. (you want the non-crossover cable for this board)1 Raspberry PI RP2040 Microcontroller (Pre-programmed with layout and layers of your choice)1 Magnetic USB-C cable. Just like normal USB-C cable, but with magnetic connector. What's not included:No 3D-printed case. Go Download the files from: tompi/cheapino GitHub and print your own. The Good: The keyboard works great! The firmware is very stable and works as expected. The key switches are high quality, and have a good feel to them. Keyboard is true split, and ortholinear.The RP2040 has a blindly bright LED on board. Your board will have settings to dim the LED and change color on active layer, or turn it off altogether. The Bad: The switches are soldered, so not not hot swappable. I insisted on messing with the PCB layout, and since I don't know what I'm doing in Ki-CAD, I broke 3 of the traces. The Ugly: Because I broke the 3 traces, I had to bodge wire the back. Keyboard works fine, it just looks unprofessional. Please see the black wires in the last photo. The keys are *mostly* aligned. You won't notice it at all when typing. If you are OCD though, you will definately notice that the keycaps are not perfectly aligned. Again, please see photos. Any Questions?
