The chain of the necklace is on the wider side, almost like a choker but it's a bit long for that. The cameo is white against red, very nicely carved. The cameo's setting serves as both the central focus and the clasp of the necklace. There is a loop at the bottom of the cameo's setting, where a drop or some other kind of addition could be attached. A very elegant and attractive piece. This piece is in great condition. The clasp closes securely. The chain has no kinks or breaks. There are no splits, no repairs, and no problems whatsoever. This piece has been nitric acid tested and is guaranteed between 10 and 14 karat gold purity, probably closer to 10. The necklace is approximately 22 inches long. This piece weighs 26.1 grams.
