Description: 1925 ORIGINAL COVER CHALRES RAY Folks, it is with some pride that I present the COVER photo of Charles Ray entitled BACK TO HIS BARNYARD DAYS, who has returned to his popular past in the BRIGHT LIGHTS with such success that he has been given his signature to a contract whereby he will continue to epitomize boyhood in the manner of James Whitcomb Riley in a series of future photoplays. as cited and saved from an old American Pictorial magazine. Following my retirement, I have dedicated my remaining hours to indexing the history of our ancestors. During my research, I discovered that hundreds of our important memorabilia lay unfound and unrecognized on some book dealer’s shelf gathering dust.. There were many pictorials published – the common ones are listed on Ebay every day but the rarer ones like this one covering a great cover photo of our time never make it. They are hard to find. Collectors treasure them. I hunt them out because really the better, untold and rarer stories were published in the rest. Here’s one of the best.
