Charles Mingus A Clown lp VG-/VG

Description: This auction is for Charles Mingus' The Clown. The vinyl has some scuffs and a 1" scratch that can't be felt. The cover has some dings in the corners and it cover came unglued along the bottom from the opening to about 5 inches in. It could be glued but I'll leave that to the new owner. The vinyl could use a good cleaning. This auction, and the others listed, are for a friend who was laid-off from Covid last year. He gained employment but is slowly catching up on his bills thus the sale of albums. As a vinyl collector myself, I have tried to be very picky about the grading. I hate negative surprises. So I would say my grading is pretty stringent (actually, I know it is after seeing some of the stuff I’ve received eBay pretty generously graded). If something is sealed, that doesn’t necessarily mean it is mint. If there are issues like a bent corner, I will note them. If something is important to you, please ask. On opened vinyl I don’t guarantee that the inner sleeves are original (especially on releases that are older than me). If you need pictures, I will happily send them. And if I have made an error in a listing, please let me know. Some of these albums, or versions, I'm not familiar with so your help is greatly appreciated. Finally, I’m not accepting offers as I’ve tried to price everything extremely fairly. He has a number we are trying to reach. Once it is reached, we might pull the remaining auctions so don’t wait to buy! We have rock, punk, jazz and everything in between to list. Some of the albums might need a good cleaning but the descriptions will note the flaws. And in case you are wondering, we’ve reached about 75% of our target.
