Description: CHARLES J. HASZ (1895-1984) - YOUNG GIRL PORTRAIT - SIGNED AND DATED - 1966 - WOOD FRAME Up for sale this beautiful art work by Charles J. Hasz, portrait of a young girl. C.J. Hasz attended the Cincinnati Art School and studied under Frank Duveneck. He was the founder and first president f the Buckeye Art Association of Youngstown , Ohio, around 1924. He was also a member of the Associated Artist of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. About 1940 he moved to Hollywood, Florida, and became the founder and 1st president of the Hollywood Art Ligue. He died August 11, 1984. The canvas measures 16" by 20-1/2" and framed 20-1/2" by 24-1/2". In excellent condition except a rip in the canvas of about 1/2" about 1-1/2" from the hair on the right side (see pictures). Winning bidder must pay within 2 days from end of auction.
