His painstaking method of silkscreen printing combined with hand-cut paper collage, results in three-dimensional illustrations. Fazzino’s broad subject matter ranges from cityscapes to sporting, and leisure events to cultural scenes, featuring intricately drawn detail and whimsical narrative. “Happiness in color,” he once stated. “It’s the type of art you don’t have to have an art education to understand. It’s fun, it’s sentimental, and everybody responds to it.” Born on December 26, 1955 in Westchester, NY, Fazzino graduated from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan with his BFA in 1977.
