Description: Honore Daumier, Paul Jacquinot-Godard Signed Numbered Charcoal, Satirical. NOTE: this is not my area of expertise and I am unsure of what you call the art technique but if I take a piece of Kleenex and rub on the black it comes off so I believe it is charcoal. The paper itself is embossed and the signatures looked to be in charcoal as well as in pencil. But I don’t know if it’s charcoal over some thing or just charcoal but it looks like just charcoal to me. There are also some numbers on the lower left-hand corner. This is been in a Jewish estate for approximately 90 years….. It was in a frame but the frame was badly damaged and so was a glass and I was afraid it was going to ruin the artwork so I took it out and I’m selling it like it is. Overall it’s approximately 14” by 11” with the embossed edge measurements being approximately 11” by 8 3/4”.
