I've used Champion shoes for the last 30 years, and I've used these types of runners for the last 12 years or so. So, I can personally tell you they are actually very comfortable, and last a long time. Let them air out regularly by alternating between pairs, and they last even longer, which is why I bought 5 pairs at a time. Unfortunately, they don't make these anymore!
