The bottom is marked "Ceramiche Virginia Made in Italy" as seen. The pitcher is in good condition with 1 mm chip ( see the last picture) The glazing only lightly applied in some spots on some of the scroll work that is in high relief on the sides (almost invisible) This definitely appears to be part of the original creation of the piece.
