Description: DescriptionBeautiful monumental large Cecilia Mayr hand signed original 1/1 monoprint acyclic abstract "Rain in the Suburbia" Cecilia Mayr, was born in Votuporanga, Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1955. She studied Fine Art's, and Philosophy, earning her Fine Art's degree in 1977. She worked in Sao Paulo, & Riode Janeiro, in Brazil, with artist Pedro Sanchez. Her first professional experience, came from creating, cartoon animation, for television commercials, and comic books. After traveling to Spain, and Italy, she moved to the United States, taking residency in Phoenix, working five years, as a graphic designer. After working as a graphic designer, Cecilia faced the need, for inner expression, and worked at a art studio, in Downtown Phoenix, painting Watercolors, and Mono Prints. In 1988, she moved to Florida, exhibiting her work with Rosenbaum Fine Art's, and in 1992, she moved back to Phoenix, while living in Phoenix, from 1992 to 1998, her work was exhibited, at various galleries, in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and London.
