The dial has been scratched in circles. The watch sometimes stops working when I set the stem back in, but I fix this problem by unscrewing the crown, taking the stem out, and putting it back in. I do not think the stem works and I do not know what could be causing the hand failure, whether it is the stem and/or movement. Some of the screws on the back plate are a bit stripped.
