Cartier Tank Silver Men's Watch 2302 automatic serviced with records

Description: One Cartier Tank Francaise stainless steel watch large model reference 2302. This is the automatic large men's version, not the ladies or quartz models. This timepiece was manufactured about 1997 and bought shortly after. The was just serviced at Cartier and keeps good time. The watch has a white/silver dial with guilloche. It has Roman numerals and a small date window with quickset feature at 6 o'clock. The dial is in good condition with minor wear present. The sapphire crystal looks unmarked. The crown is firm and winds beautifully. The clasp on the bracelet feels nice and tight when opening and closing it, as it should. The rear of the case details the model, reference number and serial. It has normal wear from use, as does the watch bracelet. There are small scuffs and scratches on the case and band, like near cabochon on the side, for example. They are not easy to see but are present and could no doubt be polished out, but Cartier said it did not need it. As to the additional contents of the sale, the outer white box has noticeable wear, has tape and some staining inside and outside. The red leather box in good condition with minor wear, though the watch support holder has some age wear and cracking (it works just fine and is cosmetic). From 2005 to 2014 it was not really used. In 2014 it was serviced at an authorised dealer and again in March 2024 at Cartier's 5th Ave mansion in NYC (dropped off in December and completed in April). The cabochon was replaced in 2014 and the blued hands in 2024, as that was Cartier's recommendation. To my knowledge, all other parts are original, except worn parts that are normally replaced in service. Sale includes outer box, leather box, small leather booklet with paper manual and dealer booklet, suede pouch, large envelope sleeve (service receipts shown here in envelope sleeve are not included due to personal data). This si a truly gorgeous timepiece and far better looking that Cartier's updated tank, imo. This is for sale elsewhere. First come first serve. You do not find watches in this condition with documented history every day. Approximate measurements are in the pictures. Note that serial number on rear of watch as well as identifying information on receipts purposely obscured, but is correct. Does not include extra links or original warranty booklet.
