We choose not to repair. It could be ground, but we believe in full disclosure and did not want to hide. We are not seeing any cracks. The issues are photographed (we did alter the coloration on the photograph with the chips since it blended in and hard to see without doing this.) Since these items were previously used and loved, there will be small scratches and signs of wear. We feel these characteristics are part of the history of these wonderful things and should not detract from the use of them today.
