A 2 toile textile!! ~*~ This panel has two toiles, on one panel. The right facing side : This wonderful toile is rare and wonderful. A piece is held at the toile de Jouy museum. This gorgeous textile is a Toile de Normandy. A beautiful toile , beautiful drawn about the 3 stages of the life of Napoleon 1. His voyage from Corsica with his family, the coronation in 1804 at Norta Dame and the glory of his rein!~ its magnificent. Its believed to have been drawn by Alexandre Buquet. This curtain is a light to medium weight cotton, The right side : This toile was printed in Bolbed, most likely by Lecoq Le Jeune et Fils. Its printed in this beautiful gold tone, rare to find. Ive only ever found a hand-full of these wonderful toiles in this tone ever! ~*~ The side has the most beautiful hand stitched ruffle. This textile would have hung from a ciel de lit above a bed. Beautifully aged a museum quality textile ! MEASUREMENTS: This wonderful panel measures approximately 51 inches wide at the bottom by 107 inches long. The top where is is hung is 19 inches wide ~*~ CONDITION : This fabric is in original, unwashed as found condition with storage dust. There are many small age marks on this panel dotted all around. Most of these pepper marks, or foxing as they are called will not wash!!~ This panel should be purchased to be enjoyed as is as I cant guarantee the little marks will wash ~*~ Please use the zoom feature to see this closely ~*~ I keep all curtains in as found condition for collectors, however this panel can be cleaned or hand washed. It appears to have never been cleaned , so there is a warm patina, beautiful but perhaps not right for everyone. Uncleaned condition reflected in the price ~*~ With signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful antiques! ~*~ Ebay library 647 toile
