Description: Book in poor condition. Despite all its failings (shown in photos), it's still pretty well together. You can cracked cover, but the book spine is not separated. My main reason for listing this at all is that it's from the library of the Hoover family (specifically President Herbert Hoover's brother/biographer Theodore Hoover) of which my husband's side of the family is related. Other books I've listed with bookplates show the name Hoover, but this specific book has Theodore's indent. Sold as a book with a neat story from someone who's a book lover but not claiming to know antiquity facts or how best to grade books. You receive exactly what I'm showing & describing.
