This stylish Swiss Camy Jetking watch is a gold-plated gent’s automatic date watch with a nice case. The classic silvered dial is signed Camy Jetking Superautomatic 25 Jewels Swiss Made. It has slim gold hands, and batons for the hours. I never opened the watch, my guess is the caliber is a AS1885-- this is just a guess, after I read about these watches. The back is signed Camy Stainless Steel Back Automatic Waterproof Incabloc Swiss Made. Swiss Camy watches are known for their understated chic elegance and excellent quality. Sometimes it stops at midnight or during the day. I checked how it works in the last 3 days, it keeps the time pretty good when it works, some times for 10-12 hours, then I find it stopped, I am not sure why, so please be aware of this symptom. The rewind button is a bit hard to turn, but it turns. I never checked it with a watch repair shop, I did not wear this watch since 2008. *** I bought this watch in 2001 in pristine condition, from an antique store in NY, and I paid at that time $395, when it worked perfectly, and it had his original metal gold plated bracelet. Now it has an after market leather bracelet. It has some cosmetic wear, and some of the gold plated is faded, please see photos. !!!
