Description: This is a vintage black and white chrome postcard, unposted, but with writing on the back. Postcard features a view of the Camp Cozy Tourists Cottages in Thurmont, Maryland. A Coke Machine is by the front door, with crates of Coca Colas at its side. The Camp Cozy Tourists Cottages and Restaurant opened in 1928. Beginning in the 1940s, because of its proximity to Camp David, it served as a hangout for political staffers and journalists waiting for presidential news from Camp David. The motel and restaurant closed in 2014. Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases, stains and bent corners. See pics for details and conditions. Reasonable offers will be considered. Multiple purchases will receive discounted shipping upon request. Unfortunately, combined shipping discounts cannot be applied to international purchases.
