It's Cartier's first in-house movement, which took them from fashion company to respected watchmakers in the world of haute horology, and it's also just a very comfortable piece to wear. It has an understated elegance to it, the neutral white dial pairs well with all outfits, pops nicely against olive or darker skin tones, and it's dressy enough to pull off with a suit while still being casual enough to wear on the beach in shorts and flip flops. It's like a Rolex Submariner, only classier and more sophisticated. Plus you get respect for not just buying a sub like everyone else. This is on my list of top watches under $10k and I try my best to keep one in the rotation. The black dial is equally desirable, the white dial is just my personal preference, I like to keep a white chrono and a black non-chrono in the rotation. This watch also comes with the Genuine Java Rock Python strap in the photos, which gives it a completely different and edgier look. Will ship on whichever strap you prefer.
