Description: This comic book is from January 1989 (Copper Age) and is the first appearance of The Crow aka Eric Draven! This comic was signed by the SOLE creator of the The Crow, James O’Barr! CGC, the preferred grading company, witnessed and authenticated this comic and *graded it a high 8.5! As of August 2024 there are ONLY A TOTAL of 141 SIGNED in the CGC CENSUS with only 15 of those in grade 8.5(!) (see pics), making it a very rare comic!!! Eric Draven is a character that was famously portrayed by the late actor/martial artist Brandon Lee (son of the legendary martial artist Bruce Lee) in the 1994 movie, The Crow. This was Brandon’s last movie as he was accidentally killed while making this movie! Currently, filming of a reboot of The Crow has finished and is scheduled to come out August 2024 with actor Bill Skarsgard (of Pennywise fame from Stephen Kings IT movies) to portray Eric Draven! Feel free to ask questions before buying. *Note: there is some damage to the holder(the outer encapsulated plastic that protects the comic book) NOT comic itself, see pics. The damage is to the left bottom corner and on the reverse there is a 4 1/2 inch crack. Now because of this damage the holder or outer encapsulation is not completely sealed on the left side. AGAIN, the comic itself is ENCASED in plastic, inside the holder or encapsulation, protecting it from the damage. **I believe buyer can resend to CGC for re-encapsulation or to the other top grading service, CBCS, for re-encapsulation for a FEE.
