Description: Calco (California Clay Products), South Gate, CA 1923-1932 California scenic tile Great condition; This is the first time I've had this tile it's not in the catalog. I believe it was made early in company's history. Depicting a planter with a huge tree with a rich leaf border of blue and brown glazing. Great colors - I count six color glazes, it's rare to get these top of the line California tiles in many colors. Measures 12 inches long by 8 inches tall about an inch thick. It was once set and the back of the tile is somewhat chewed up - look at pictures - but the front is in great shape. No chips, cracks or repairs and the tile is a little bowed in the middle but a lot of these hand-made tiles were. Once it's set you won't see it. Can be used in many different applications. Insurance included in shipping cost.
