Cajun anchors are a simple and inexpensive way to hold your boat in a shallow water fishing spot. A cajun anchor is a 3/4″ round sharpened metal bar that sticks in the mud. The guide pipe outer edge is about 6" from the mounting pad. We can customize this if you feel like you'll have clearance issues. Just put a note in your order when you checkout.What is the double barrel? The double barrel is a simple upgrade where we weld a second guide pipe on the bracket with a capped bottom. This allows you to motor around with the anchor in a holstered position without getting mud in your boat. We don't recommend cruising at speed with the anchor in this position. Installation:Install with screws in the deck. If you have the option to access the bottom side, use large fender washers. An anti-seize like Tef-Gel for dissimilar metals will be beneficial for long term corrosion prevention between the stainless/galvanized bolts and aluminum surface.
