Description: Offered is this very fine late 1800s leather high eagle fire helmet made by Cairns and Brothers. This helmet has an 8" leather front with cut and applied letters. The unique and original front has a large 1 at the top with the scramble of the letters KSC in the center and HOSE on the bottom panel. The helmet is in excellent condition with no wire showing. A very fine helmet for any collection.
