Description: This is a vintage original c.1950s “Soda Jerk” style paper hat from the Café Du Monde in New Orleans, Louisiana. Printing on the inside of the hat indicates “Classy Cap” and indicates this hat was made by the LIN-O-LOOK Company of New Orleans. Printing on the inside also indicates Pat. No. 3,390,405. This hat looks unused and measures about 11.75” x 3.5” when laid flat. The hat was designed as one size fits all with an adjustable slide on the headband inside. This menu came with other travel ephemera dated mostly to the 1950s and looks to be from around that time period although we are not sure of the exact age. The hat shows a bit of toning from age and is in very good condition overall.
