Description: Feel free to check out more Antique Hardware and Other Salvaged Items in My EBay Antique Shop. Dozens of fresh pickings listed weekly from My Northern New England Factory, Barn and Old House Calls. Thank You for Visiting! Up for Sale is a Set of Vintage Kason Hardware (Brooklyn) for a Walk-In Cooler/Refrigerator. This lot includes a Pair of Chrome Plated Brass Hinges which are marked No.1409 and Original Handle which is also Plated Brass Model-K48A. Striker is Brass except for the actual steel strike. Last photo will show that the end of handle was customized (machine cut) to fit the door being used. Handle as well as Hinges are all in fine working condition. Patent Number on Handle is 1884722 which was issued in 1932. Hinges Design Patent 85477 issued 1931. I do not believe they are 1930's but could be as early as 1940's. Brass could have been used instead of Steel or Iron during the War Effort. Hinges are for door that is flush with frame. Each hinge is 2 lbs 4 ozs, latch is 3 lbs. Hinge door footprint 6 1/4" x 2 3/4", frame 5 3/8" x 2 1/2", handle footprint 3 3/16" x 3 3/16", strike footprint 3 3/16" x 2 3/16". ***Please Enlarge Each Photo for a Better View of Condition and Take the Time to Read the Entire Condition section.
