c.1949 Caterpillar Tractor Co. Catalog Brochure 123 of Zoned Equipment Vintage

Description: This is a vintage original c.1939 brochure issued by the Caterpillar Tractor Company of Peoria, Illinois with the cover title “the 1-2-3 of Zoned Equipment”. This brochure is 16 pages measuring about 8.5” x 11” and is profusely illustrated throughout with lots of detailed information on Caterpillar earthmoving equipment. The first paragraph explains the meaning of the “1-2-3 of Zoned Equipment” with Zone 1 being Power Equipment, Zone 2 being Slow Speed Hauling Equipment and Zone 3 being High Speed Hauling Equipment. This brochure isn’t dated but has document code “Form No. 9487 D639” which I think dates this to 1939. This brochure is a fully complete vintage original in very good condition with light handling wear and a bit of sight dust staining to the covers and no defects of significance.
