It extends past the Sea of Galilee to Syria on the right.The lower part of the map is elaborately engraved with a scene of the encampment and Moses receiving the Ten Commandments at Mt. Sinai. Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel flank the title cartouche. The map is further decorated with a convoy of ships bringing cedar for the building of Solomon's Temple, and Jonah and the whale.An original map over 300 years old, not a reproduction. It is in good antiquarian condition with folds as issued and some toning and soiling, as seen in the photos.Comes with certificate of authenticity.
