Byzantine Style Relief Stone Inside Tomb of Jesus gathered at site of Renovation

Description: This carved relief has been done to look like an ancient Byzantine sculpture. It has been painted with a beautiful aged patina look. The image on the relief is of the Risen Jesus coming from the tomb. On the left side is a marble stone fragment that was gathered from the renovation site of Jesus tomb more info below. This sculpture relief measures 5" tall by 4". The stone has been sealed onto the sculpture with a clear resin. Each one I make is unique and will be very limited in qty. I posted an info photo so you can see the marble stones I broke off the fragments that I used in the making of this relief. This will make a treasured keepsake of our Lord Jesus. Each cross is unique as the fragments have a beautiful blend of different colors from the various marble stones that I used. I am so excited to be able offer this precious keepsake that contains the fragments of marble stone that were recovered and gathered during the restoration of the Tomb of Jesus within the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. She was invited to the excavation site by a friend of hers who is a Biblical archeologist. I have taken these stones she provided me (I posted a photo of the ones I purchased from her) and I break them up into smaller sizes for the creation of my reliquary keepsakes that I design.
