Great for hunting, camping, rescue, surveillance, construction, energy monitoring and much more. These are commonly used by firefighters and other rescue teams for locating people.Unit is in good condition with scuffs, marks and wear from use and storage. The unit powers on perfectly and has a working lens and display. This unit does not have a transmitter, if you need a unit with a transmitter let me know as I have others available.The optics are in excellent shape, you will easily see "heat" generated from appliances, people, heaters, fire, pipes, electronics, etc. It was tested and in perfect operating condition, all pictures attached to this listing were generated from this unit. I took a picture of hot running water, a flame as well as one of our SUV's after it was running.A charger dock is included, all you need to do is provide 12-volts DC to the wires on the dock and it will charge the battery. Red is positive, black is negative. Connect this in a vehicle to the battery system or get a 12vdc Power Supply and connect it to the wires for charging.Please note that all batteries included are no guarantees on battery life or longevity. I purchased an aftermarket battery recently for the unit. During my testing the battery took & held a charge and was able to operate the unit without the need for any external power.
