Bull Dog Brand, (Double Dog), Kentucky Thorobred, Trapper, 1 of 6! Rare!, NWOB

Description: Trying to identify Bull Dog Brand knifes is very difficult when you don't have their original box. So this knife has been a research project for me. I'll supply the things I've learned or suspect this is. Please review all pictures to make your own conclusions. This is a Handmade, Hammer Forged Knife from Solingen Germany. I believe this to be a 5th generation knife. And though the exact date was not found on the knife I believe it's manufactured between 2001-2003. It has the double bull dog faces on the bottom of the blades, 2003 was the last year they used the double bull dog tang stamp. It has two blades. I believe it is a trapper knife because of the shape of the blades. It's approximately 4" when closed. I believe the handle is genuine Mother of Pearl, but look for yourself as I'm not an expert. It has Kentucky Thorobred etched on the main blade. On the other side it says that it's 1 of only 6 every created! I couldn't find an example of this exact knife anywhere in all of my searching. Most of the knifes I researched were 1 of 24 made. So this one having so few made make's it extra special for the serious collector. This is actually a new knife that has never been used, but without it's box. That's because my husband kept many of his most treasured knifes in a cloth display case so he could take them out and admire them. Because this knife has been hand made and hammer forged and the fact that it's approximately 20 years old, it is now showing some tarnishing. I tried to capture these area in my pictures so please review them. (I'm including a picture of the display case this knife's been kept in so you'll understand what I'm saying. The knifes in the case are of course not part of this listing, just a FYI type thing.) This knife is part of my husband's life long collection of knife's that he is now parting with in his later years of life. (Please note: You must be 18 years old to purchase this knife.
