Description: Offered is this vintage Buffalo Sabres 1970's NHL Hockey Puck. This is one of the early Buffalo Sabres game style puck variations used in the early 1970's, during the infancy of this expansion franchise. The puck features a rubber crest logo front and a screened Converse, Art Ross Tyer logo on the reverse side. The puck shows heavy use on both the front and back sides and even some areas of rubber loss, likely from game or practice play. This puck was found at my in-laws home right in Buffalo, NY and it was likely a game or practice puck used in the Memorial Auditorium "The Aud" in Buffalo. My wife grew up there and she and her family went to many games as youngsters, growing up right in the city. Please let me know if you have questions. Thanks so much.
