Description: Early 1970's Buck Kalinga Knife, Original Kalinga Sheath, & Collector/Display/Storage Case - NOS. Features a black Micarta handle with three bright brass rivets, stout brass guard, 440C skinning blade (upswept full tang with trailing point) - original six brass rivet leather sheath - comes in its original embossed collector/display/storage case. Knife measures 10" overall - blade length is 5". Knife has never been used or sharpened - just pulled from storage to sell at this time. Buck Kalinga case and contents were purchased new in early 70s - New Old Stock (NOS). See notes below. Note #!: The stretchable retaining straps (that holds the sheath to the inside upper part of the storage lid) were replaced with all new stretchable retaining straps (the old straps were sagging and not holding the sheath in proper position) - new stretchable straps now hold the sheath in place like it should within the display case. See all photos. Note #2: A small hole has developed in the cloth below where the knife rests within the case. The blade did not cause the hole. Unfortunately, years of age caused the hole in the fabric. Fortunately, the small hole is not noticeable when knife is placed upon fitted form as seen in photos. I state this information here so there is no misunderstandings when item is sold. See all photos. We do not sell or ship internationally.
