Description: A great bit of BROCKTON History here, as this may be the lone surviving copy of Historical Architectual plans/Map - a BROCKTON, Mass. Architects 1920 rendering for creation of the old Brockton High School Football Field, Baseball diamond, Track, and Graduation Field - the ELDON B KEITH Field at 128 West Elm Street in Brockton, Massachusetts. The facility was built and then given to the City of Brockton by the famous George E Keith in dedication to his son who had died in 1919 while in service of the US Government. George Keith was the owner of the company using his name, the manufacturer of WALK-OVER Shoes. This original plan Map from 1920 measures 27" x 42", is non-framed. It has staining on the lower section, and a small rip.
